“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;

The mountains and the hills will burst into song before you

And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

Isaiah 55:12

This window is clearly seen on exiting the church – a window of blessing to remind us that when we leave we do not leave God behind but can take his promises with us.

The left-hand side is about joy, bursting into song, fruitfulness and provision. It includes an historical image of the Whitburn brass band, fields and trees.

The right-hand side is about peace and God’s mercy to us (the lost sheep). Blossoms and buds are a further image of blessing mentioned elsewhere in Isaiah chapter 55.
